Guess you folks are correct, Wright probably wasn't intentionally thrown at. I didn't see the game today but the AP lead its story with Wright homering after being thrown at twice, and I couldn't figure out what was going on. Didn't mean to suggest something was, I just didn't know.

Sensationalism. It makes for a better story to print "mindfacts" () than to print what actually happened.

Nope.
In that case, no. :?

I can't wait for the offseason.  At least something exciting might happen.

Mets fan here. Have posted here rarely but read often.

After today's game I'm curious about the Nats' approach to D. Wright. Y. Maya threw behind his back and Tyler C. threw at his head. Is there a reason for that? Is there bad blood involving Wright and the Nats that I'm not aware of? I don't recall reading any smart alec comments by Nats against the Mets or by Mets against the Nats, so if there is a feud it is news to me.

Hope that's not the case.

I've seen no reason for any bad blood.  Zimm and Wright seem to sort of pal-ish, too.  It was odd Kennedy got drilled twice, maybe the 2nd one was a warning, but other than that I didn't see anything.  Two dead teams playing out the string.

Actually, Bally unleased a high, inside curve that didn't break at all.  Thankfully for the batter, it was not his fastball.
