I have very little interest in finding a scapegoat.  In games like that, there are so many little things that could have gone differently to change the outcome.

Frankly, it's sophomoric to even think about scapegoats. The very term implies wrongheaded thinking...

Scapegoating is the practice of singling out any party for unmerited negative treatment or blame as a scapegoat.
