I'm going to be at the Saturday game of the Pirate series. Two of my favorite teams going at each other. Honestly, the Nats SHOULD have the upper hand but with this team you never know.
Interesting...I like the Pirates too. I used to live in Pittsburgh.
I grew up with my father being a huge Pittsburgh fan. He was so happy when DC got the Nats because he knew they'd be coming to DC rather than him having to make the trip to Pitt every so often. Big Pirates fan he is, so it naturally rubbed off on me.
I remember back in the 90s where it was Bonilla, Andy Van Slyke, and Pre-Roid Bonds and that Bucs team had some punch but were never able to make it to the series sadly.
