It's kind of like the guard who chucks  a 35 footer with a few seconds left when his team is down one point.  Horrible play if he misses, great play if it works. 

It was really fun to see the suicide squeeze develop, and actually work for a change.
Let's tweak that a bit.  It's more like a guard taking a contested 3 with about 15 left on the shot clock with abou 6 minutes left in the game with his team up 2...except in this case, the coach called the play.
