Dave's guess is right. This is the first time Craig Kimbrel has pitched before the 9th in 2012.

Yeah, I heard that too.  Didn't Josh Hamilton hit four in a game this season?   Not sure what FP was trying to say there.

I think that Kaline was the nearest to being a teen when accomplishing the feat.

Is there a mercy rule in this league?

Gotcha.  I wasn't sure what point FP was trying to make.

He's been stuck on 1 homer for his game for several innings now.  Might be beginning to cool off.

Are you suggesting that the Giants were the best team last year?  Shall we go over the last 20 Super Bowl champions and see how many of them were the #1 seeds in each conference?

That's how I feel about baseball. I think it's a bigger accomplishment to have the best record in the league during the regular season than winning the WS. Winning the postseason tournament is great, but being #1 in the league over a 162 game season is greater.

I know that most people don't agree with me.

Terrible, chased ball 4. McCann saved a run on a wild slider on that 0-2 pitch.

Just a guess.  FP speaks in strange parables sometimes.

The Nats should automatically have NL homefield advantage by virtue of the Reds getting to have the Cubs and Astros in their division.

Can't wait to hear a packed house do that. It's probably already happened, but I haven't heard it yet.
