I dont think Id do that either, but I at least understand the premise of it. Giolito is a stud, and even if he does need TJ, you're not going to get a comparable talent next year with either of the first rounders. But with the serious need of young talent in the system at the bottom levels(come next year, just about all of our 'real' prospects will be at Potomac or higher if we dont sign Gio), the extra pick(s) would help.

I don't know about that, if you're willing to take a risk on an injured player, you'll find someone - look at purke last year. Injury aside, look where we got goodwin last year. Even though wasn't in the same exalted class gong into last year's draft, would you trade Meyer for Giolito?
