Howie Fresh. He escaped through a busted screen, had an epic night in the wilds of upstate NY before returning home flush with the excitement of the evening.

No need for politics in this thread. Take it to uncensored with agendas.

Sound the sub horn!

Any chance the subhorn could be replaced with the sound of booing Phillies fans from the end of last tuesday's game?  that was sweet and sounded like a subhorn, sort of.

Very nice, best start yet, but we're going to have to keep winning games because I have a feeling that the '05 team is about to get hot.

Quite right: 20-6 in June (best month in Nats history)...23-5 from 2nd June through 3rd July...the '05 Overachievers at their overachieving best.

It was with a Fourth of July home loss to the Mets that they awoke from their wonderful dream - they had won six straight and nine of their last 10 going into the Fourth - and would not win back-to-backs again till 3rd/4th August. If this year's model falls behind the '05 Overachievers in the 'Comparative Dates' list, that's when they'll regain any lost ground (assuming they stay on more or less their current clip).

outside of the nats win against the orioles, this may have been my most favorite of the season.

4-1 this week, with two of our best wins ... great week.  let's get today and sweep tomorrow!
