2 runs down is nothing for this team. I'm more worried about our pitching than our offense.
I know it's hard to get last season out of your memory bank, but this team is much more potent.

Belliard can't play 2B very well anymore. I'd give ronnie maybe 1 start a week. we just need Anderson to wake up.

It may be too much pressure, as well, for him to handle the leadoff spot at this point in his career.  Once Guz is back, he might do better in the 8 hole.

I'd rather have Orlando Hudson playing second.

From McElroy's last blog:
Quote
Manager Manny Acta has said in the past that Dukes has a green light, but he needs to known when and when not to run.

From McElroy's last blog:

Yeah, probably from first to second.  I don't know very many players that get the green light from second to third.

If he gave Dukes the green light for that, then he really is making desperate moves...

I think everyone is thrown out about 80% when trying to steal 3rd... it hardly ever works.

Brian Roberts is one of the best at stealing third. Most guys just don't know how to time it.

Everyone says ED has great baseball instincts. Oh that in comparison to Lastings. Never mind.

Why steal 3rd with no outs? I understand 1, but none?
I can't think of any reason whatsoever to steal 3rd base.

There is no context to which Dukes trying to steal 3rd was a good move.

NJ has no power. would have been better off playing for the walk there.

freak, we are letting Kawakami's stupid ass off the hook. we should be piling up runs on him.

It definitely increases your chance of scoring if you make it.

Who would have guessed that Adam Dunn's walkup music would be Phil Collins?

Dunn seems to be missing on some good pitches to drive.
