I can't wait to see how MLB reacts when they somehow end up with an ump like this in the one-game wildcard playoff.  It's bound to happen someday.

Oh man, I hadn't even thought about that.  That's going to be the greatest ununwatchable debacle of all time.

LH hitters had an OPS of .800 vs EJ last year.

That's my biggest worry about the one-game playoff.

I already said he was pathetic. So is standing at the plate expecting to get a call when the ump has no idea what he's doing.

LOL he swung at that last pitch and he had already hit a triple. You just hate him. It's never going to matter what he does. You're opinion is totally tainted.

Werth struck out on that last pitch because he couldn't catch up to a 76 mph slider

I might have thrown my laptop through the window if he called that safe.

Screw these Mets fans and their boos. They have received a majority, if not all the calls, and they have the audacity to boo? Eff them.

You still owe us ump.  Making the right (and easy) call doesn't make us even.

It was 85 according to MASN but point taken.

The Magic Glove Heartbreak Chin would have picked it out of the dirt.

MDS said he was standing there trying to buy a call. I wasn't insinuating that Werth's swing was a good one. Werth has had his struggles, but I'm giving all our hitters a pass tonight because this ump freaking sucks.

I was yelling at my TV because of how long he took.
