Stammen  shouldn't have been allowed to pitch to Hardy.  This is where we lose the game.

It's odd I think stammen has been poor for almost a month yet he isn't giving up runs. Credit to him

Or not. But what'r you gonna do when there isn't another pitcher warm yet.

Stammen has earned a little slack, I think.

One more
WISH GRANTED.

San Francisco was 17th in Runs scored in 2010 and won the World Series with pitching.  That's the model we're emulating.  We need better managing of lineups to squeeze more runs out of the Nationals this year.

You don't like that donkey Jim Hunter?

Palmer is almost tolerable but I can't stand Hunter.

Their bullpen can't be this good. We have done absolutely nothing vs their relievers in either series.

Statistically they're the best in baseball.
Their bullpen can't be this good. We have done absolutely nothing vs their relievers in either series.

I think Jim Palmer only works home games in Baltimore.  I don't think he goes on road trips.

Palmer has probably been spending a lot of his time posing for his new statue in Camden Yds.

They are top 3 in bullpens in all of baseball.
