More GOLD GLOVE DEFENSE in center. All hail nook

JMad...that was on Kearns.  Nook was calling for it but Kearns didn't back off.

This is a game we can not lose.  The penalty is death by Cristian and the Jesuses.

**** you cincy

JMad if you don't like the word censor, it's better for you to turn them off in your profile preferences than to break them by not typing the whole word.  I've asked sportsfan not to do this, so it wouldn't be fair of me not to make the same request of you.

tonite we had a 6-0 lead and we will lose - that says something about us (especially after winning 7 of 10 at home) Manny let Spiegner in for too long and now its costing us. this loss will be demoralizing and probably start a 10 game losing streak.

The Nats are probably pretty dejected right now. I wouldn't be surprised if the went down in order in the 9th.

Yep I wouldn't be surprised. You just cannot lose games like this. I think it's time that we replace Rauch with Rivera as our 8th inning setup man.

My bad.  I just censored it; if it's better left alone, so be it.

And it's another game where we scored four runs in the first inning and lose.  >:(

Sweet J.R., give up a 3 runs then he strikes out Castro and Freel to end the inning.

Or Winston.  He's been really solid.

Well, all pitchers blow it at some point. The real problem there was Kearns not yielding on the fly ball. That changed the whole ballgame. Speigner starting was the real problem.
