The only thing this thread is missing is C&D's call of the clincher.

Getting into a panic mode about Reds. They and the Nats need to separate. Can't buy plane tickets until I know the dates of playoff games.

To Ross Detwiler, for a nicely pitched game tonight.

To Drew Storen, for a nice save tonight.

To Ryan Zimmerman, for a great game tonight, and for sticking with this team since 2005.

To Davey Johnson, for answering the call in mid-2011 to come out of 10 years of exile to manage this team.

Wearing my Drew Storen auto'd cap with Nats Jacket and Nats ID lanyard to work today.

Hate MLB ON XM for Hatin' on the Nats in favor of CinCin!  Claim Nats are dont have the right winning attitude!

Good!  I've GOT ENOUGH NATITUDE TO MAKE UP FOR THAT!  COME ON NATS!  ON OUR WAY TO CLINCHING NUMBER 1!

It even made Politico: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0912/81494.html?hp=l12

Barnacle and Allen (from Politico) both gave props to the Nats on "Morning Joe" on MSNC this morning. Having a team represent the city at the center of the news universe has its advantages.
