It's very comical.

I can't stop laughing!  :D Didn't he just say this was the worse game he had ever watched?

I thought the win on Wednesday would possibly be the most intense curly W of the season.  Lo and behold, two days later...

You gotta love baseball.

Night all. Good time on the gameday thread. Great game. How much better does 6-11 sound than 1-8?

Amazing. They never gave up, that's for sure. But I had to laugh when Carpenter called this a well-deserved win. LOL.

What a win, what a night!  Honestly, it should of been over in the 9th but I am not going to split hairs here.

Great f'n job staying in there and sticking it to them.

It was their plan all along: let the Fish get back in, let them think they are doing well, and then pull the rug out from under them and humiliate them. ;)

I mean, if you think about it, this game was just so amazingly incredible.  We had so many chances to win the game, they had so many chances to win the game.  If the ump decided to be a lazy @$$, he could have called a ball on that 3-1 pitch from Colome with the bases loaded and the Marlins would have won.  It was a very close pitch.  In almost every extra inning we would get the lead off hitter on only to screw it up.  Don't get me wrong, this team has many things that have to be fixed (bunting, baserunning, managing) but to win a game like this is just awesome.  It's even more sweeter because I was already counting this as a loss after the Chief blew the game.  Baseball is such a crazy game.  There were so many very little things that could have changed the course of the entire game.  Alright I'm done for the night.  See you guys tomorrow, it sure was exciting!

Without a doubt, but Church provided the punch and the determination to cross the plate when he should have been OUT.  Shawn Hill was outstanding but his base-running mistake took the win away.  Jesus REALLY took the heart OUT of the Marlins.  EVERYONE watching KNEW there was NO WAY he could complete a THIRD inning, but he did.  (Who is Mike Stanton?)

Yep, the previous high was 560 on an August 9, 2006 game against the Marlins.  Here's the box score of that game: http://scores.espn.go.com/mlb/boxscore?gameId=260809120
