I heard some people at a bar debating the merits of Cuban, Dominican and Nicaraguan cigars.

Cuban is good but a pain to find and terrbily overpriced.  They are good but not THAT good.  Dominican is the best quality with acceptable prices, and readily available everywhere.  I never had a Nicaraguan cigar though.

Sorry for the OT talk, back to the game.

Sigh.. now RZ singles.  Guzman doomed this inning to hell.

STFU Carpenter.  I don't want to hear your fantasies about how good the Cubs are.

Nice pitch. I don't know what you see in Soto, ronnynat.

Haha. You gonna ask me that any time he doesn't get a hit?

He's not hitting over .300 b/c pitchers have been just serving it up to him. He's a good hitter.

Chico was bad but even if he was perfect we wouldn't be winning. This loss is on the offense.

Hanrahan is going to be a star.  Easily our best reliever.

Are you serious?

I think he's wrong that Hanrahan is our best reliever right now, but I do think w/ his age, skill, and the experience he'll be getting in the Majors, he could end up being great.

We'll be into their pen next inning.  It is amazing that Manny the mexican is still working with the lineup cards he plays.  Does Nieves have to blow him to get in the game?

No, we can continue.

The cigars those old time Cubans make in Ybor City in Tampa are some of the best I've ever had.

I don't know about all that. Chico has to shoulder his share of the blame for deflating any momentum we had on our side.

He's got good stuff obviously but he has shown time and time again that he can't control it when it matters the most.  I could not give a crap what he is doing right now.  This is garbage time.  I want to see him producing in a close game which he hasn't done all year.

Joel's awesome isn't he? 2 doubles given up in 2 innings and then he has the pitcher down 0-2 needing a K and he let's him get a sac.

No way. Piniella will leave Zambrano in until he gives up runs. Pitch count doesn't matter for Zambrano.

Yes I am.  He has some of the nastiest stuff in the league.  When he controls it he is dominant.

Consistent control is necessary to be truly dominant. There are many pitchers at all the pro levels with inaccurate nasty stuff that'll never get the best relieving roles in the Majors because of their inconsistencies. Same goes for starters.

Okay.  But we have no one that compares to his stuff.  Let this guy pitch.
