Too busy to play it at the moment. I'll get it over the weekend.

MoH: W is a waste of time. Don't bother.

Assassins Creed III is awesome.

Halo 4 is the best one of the series. The story may actually live up to the expanded universe stuff.

i hate you

It's going to take some time for you to get used to it. It's the same game but mechanics are a bit different. And you have to unlock equipment sort of like COD style (where you level and unlock things as you level up). I just got the jetpack but not sure you'll be able to use it.

oh you hating ... well lemme get halo reach then fool.

i've heard halo 4 is trying to be a COD title, instead of being ya know regular halo.

Not at all. The game is much better than COD. COD was trying to be like Halo to begin with.

Halo 4's single players is fantastic. Great story. One of the few good stories in a video game. Really setting up the next two games. 343 is going to knock this one out of the park and it'll probably end up becoming a movie.

Made the mistake of starting Dragon Age II... Lord that game is addictive. I loved the first one though, so maybe that's why I like it so much.

Yeah. They'll definitely carry the torch much further. I really enjoyed the campaign. Master Chief is awesome.

Yeah. 343 did a very good job. It's up there with Halo 2's multiplayer.

Probably best Halo game since the first, I believe... but it's still a Halo game. :lmao: I think I underestimated how sick I was of this franchise.

I definitely prefer Slayer Pro. The other game modes are very CoD-like with all their loadouts and perks. I also hate that you can vote on maps. I end up playing the same maps over and over again.

Also, the XBL party system really kills the social aspect of multi-player. There's no communication in game anymore.

Well, it's very CoD-esque but without the headache. No killstreaks or anything like that running around. Just weapon drops. I think it works better, tbh.

watched CMD play a bit last night ... looked less Haloish and more CODish, but still very clean graphics, smooth gameplay it seemed like (outside a bit of lag).  can't wait to play it.

although in the mean time i'll enjoy his copy of Halo Reach 8)

Movie? The last time they considered that, it never got off the ground because of the gigantic budget that would have been required.

And other priorities like The Hobbit for Peter Jackson.

Forward Unto Dawn is the closest thing we'll get to a movie. I suggest watching that series. It's pretty cool

Also, the Halo: ODST commercial.

Me too. 343 Industries actually gives a crap, unlike Bungie

Yes, but also the older ones like Fall of Reach and Ghosts of Onyx.

343 definitely seems invested in this, which is nice. Every MP map is quality unlike Reach and some Halo 3 maps. I just wish they added a few more to the rotation.

As for the books, I didn't really get any Reach information aside from John flashing back at times. I need to read Ghosts of Onyx to find out more about the shield world. I'm curious as to why the Spartan III program was short lived. Spartan IV program came out like 5 years later it seems.

Cryptum and the sequels seem like an interesting read. Forerunner stuff is really cool.

Ghost of Onyx covers the shield world and the Spartan III program.
