Not enough beer today.

In honor of today, I'd suggest a Red Stripe or Killian's Irish Red.   :glug:

A couple bad games and you act like the sky is falling.

They've been REALLY bad games, though!

It's InBev now :( Bad news for all but especially for Latrobe, PA.

Yuengling.

Yessir.

The very best are Troegs and Penn Brewery though. Topnotch moderate batch breweries.

freak this.

This is the worst pitch/pitch-calling I have seen all season.

Why do they keep calling for pitches in??!

Lannan gets ahead of every hitter 0-2 and then craps his pants. Nibble nibble nibble

Lannan's really stressing the defense and wasting pitches. Too bad. Not his best stuff tonight, and the pitch count is really getting high when we need him to help the team stay in the game.

when it was from PA it was good.  It was bought by Anheuser-Busch in 2006 and is brewed in New Jersey now I believe.  Good old cheap Yuengling goes good with burgers.

Every at-bat is completely independent.  The fact that he was hitting .390 a few days ago is irrelevant to the way he's batting now.  It doesn't have to "balance out".

...Beltran, who was also batting .390 a few days ago is 2 for 2 today.

Yuengling is actually unique because it's a pre-prohibition style lager. It really does taste different.

Doesn't compare to a Troegs Doublebock or a Penn Dark though.

Ok. The team is lucky it is only 1-1 at this point. Jon needs to settle down.

That would be true except for psychology, and minor injuries/wear-and-tear.

0-2 count to Pagan, Castillo, and Beltran. Yet they all reached base via walk or single.

Got to be able to finish batters off.

Why is Lannan up 0-2 every AB and throwing waste fastball. Throw some breaking balls that aren't in the dirt after 59 feet.

Nieves is a terrible pitch caller. The pitches should come from Randy himself.
