Damn, how many different uniforms do we have?

Each team can only use 4 throughout the season

Nationals right fielder Elijah Dukes was scratched from Saturday's starting lineup against the Marlins and fined $500 for being five minutes late for work. Washington did not specify why Dukes was late.

Both acting general manager Mike Rizzo and manager Manny Acta made the decision to let Dukes sit out the game, and the outfielder was warned that if he was late again, he would be optioned to Triple-A Syracuse.

This is the second time Dukes was late for work since he joined the Nationals, the first came on Aug. 2, 2008. Although he was scratched from the lineup that day, Dukes was able to get into the game in the sixth inning against the Reds, but he left after the eighth, hampered by a cramp in his right calf.

Bad Dawgy.

Dukes, c'mon man.  You just saw your boy Milledge go down, don't make the same mistake.

big inning for Olsen here ... we need him to get at least 5-6 innings (he's got a 4-run lead c'mon).

p.s. NOTLD love the avatar.

They said earlier that he was late because he was at an autograph session for kids, but it wasn't sanctioned by the Nationals.  I mean it is a pretty legit excuse, but players need to show up on time regardless of the excuse.

Olsen's changeup is nice. If he can locate that fastball better, he'll be fine.

I'm still not comfortable with the fact that a large portion of our runs come from homers.  I mean it's better than not scoring at all, but I want to see this team learn how to play small ball.

Bad Dawgy.

I'm gonna go all AZ, and say they are taking Milledge's mistakes out on Dukes. They let Milledge act like a giant tool, and he got out of hand, so now they are gonna ride Dukes over a 5 minute late arrival. He's been late twice EVER. How many times did Milledge do it? Milledge should have been demoted for sucking. If they demote Dukes over tardiness, I may have to be an O's fan, because that's not how you win games.

I think his biggest problem is recovering after he gets rattled.  His pitches were fine in the first inning, but then after they got a few hits, he lost control on the fastball.  IMO, definitely a mental problem...

ya, but here's the thing: Milledge was sucking and missing MEETINGS, Dukes is beasting and was 5 measly minutes late for a pre-game workout.

1-0 NY leading after the first period. Caps are getting a ton of chances but they can't convert. very frustrating
