Most teams would've scored 5 or 6 there, but 3 is still more than we score during most entire games, so I'm not going to complain TOO much :?

Another Loria Promotion:

Friday night is all you can eat night at the park.

It's also a night that the Marlin Manatees mens dance troupe is on display so that you lose your appetite.

He spent more on the Manatees than what he would have paid Cabrera this year.

Uggla is an awful hitter.

That pitched missed the target by 3 feet, and Uggla still managed to K.   Amazing.  Just simply freakin' amazing.

We've got a shot to get a sweep in this series.  The Marlins pitching is as bad as we'll see all year.  Hopefully that is just what our offense needs.

The best thing about Redding is that he can handle any lineup when he's hitting his spots.

Good start boys. Nice 1-2-3 inning from Tim. Great play by Ryan.

That's probably the best complete 1st inning we've had this season.

:rofl:  We are so pathetic that we're reaching for the slightest of positives.

Miller = Detwiler

Miller belongs in High A or AA ball.  I hope they don't ruin him by keeping him up here.

Yes, but he started his slump on August 30 of that year (2006), when he was hitting .296 and had a .354 OBP.  It's only been 209 games, and Fredi is expecting him to snap out of it any decade now.

That's exactly right.  But Beinfest would rather destroy another career than admit to a mistake.

This kid has thrown 50 pitches already. He isn't long for this game.

Did anyone notice how they were playing Lopez?  Seemed like a good time to bunt for a hit.  If I were him, I'd be trying anything to up my value right now.
