How many millions did you say Mr. Strasberg?
That doesn't help the pen.  Unless he goes 9 every night.

1-15 record for the pen. 5 more losses for any other bullpen in all of baseball.

the average NL bullpen has a record of 6-6.

And he's a LONNNNNNG way away from arriving in the majors...well at least I hope so - the way this club runs itself... :-[  Yikes, who knows.

release hanrahan right this second.

Somebody MUST be moved to make room on the 25-man active roster for Stammen tomorrow.  Acta is likely to announce it at the presser.

Who gets it?

the "building for the future" young guys have done great this year. it's the rest of the team (specifically the bullpen) which has dragged this team to the ground.

Seriously. 15 losses for the bullpen. that is the primary reason we are 17 games under. and also Olsen and D-Crab who were never part of the future.

I'm not talking about tonight (although Lannan was good), I'm talking about all season.

RZ, Flores, Lannan, Martis, JZ. Hernandez has been good. Dukes has been decent when healthy.

nice, Acta is ripping Dunn

Dunn's best isn't good enough. He is not gifted defensively and is a huge liability.

Senators hasn't heard of the plan and doesn't understand how it's supposed to work.  I'm not joking.

Ryan Zimmerman was not a farm product...he was already an all-star college prospect from UVA.  Flores was a rule five acquisition from the Mets organization and Lannan, Martis and JZ have not been knocking the socks off anybody.  Please.

Dunn was -1 run tonight and really hurt us with RISP which I am not even taking into account.  RZ and Flores were Even.

Excuse me, but Dunn's best is good enough. If I made a list of people to blame for the Nationals disaster this season, Dunn would not be in the top 20.

Our rotation, maybe. Our hitting, maybe. Our bullpen, defense and bench?
