Bullcrap.  You are trying to bait him.  WTF does Bernadina have to do with anything right now?

7 hits, a walk and only 2 runs in 4 innings.

gross. :spaz:

the situational hitting continues to be abysmal.

Dibble is on fire tonight.

Says this a AAA team we are facing that we should be dominating.

Stammen is just throwing BP right down the middle. no off-speed stuff, poor location with fastball.

time to pull Stammen. he doesn't have crap tonight.

bring in Clippard and see if he can give us 3-4 innings.

what an embarrassment of a series.

Well, I think I'm going to fire up the Xbox and try out the Madden '10 demo.  I can't watch this right now.

Can't expect him to make amazing play after amazing play.  Also why didn't Bard catch it?  I don't buy the BS about him getting cut off by the runner.  Move up to catch it.

The throw was way off line to the left of Bard. Why was he throwing it home? He had no play.

Stammen was late backing it up too. Plenty of blame to go around on that play.

We had just beaten the Brewers twice and were leading 4-0 in the third game when we let them come all the way back and win. The Nats have yet to recover from blowing that lead. Losses like that have always put this team into prolonged tailspins.

We need Flores, a major league second baseman, and a pretty consecutive shortstop.

I dont understand our team.

Dude's been all over the field tonight trying to make the plays to win the game.  I don't blame him for making one off target throw.  He knows if they don't get that runner then the game is over.

stammen long-term is a pen pitcher.  he's filling in now b/c we don't have much else ready.  he's been bad in his last two that's for sure.

and knorr, milledge > bernadina ... just sayin.

have a good night all.  good luck to balester and the nats tomorrow.
