Flores absolutely helpless at the plate.. He has been bad since the first few weeks of the season.  His avg. is down to .204

Acta should be angry at the way they've "approached" this game at the plate.

One hit when you're down by 4 is pretty meek...

Fick has 2 more hits than Lopez, Church, Kearns, and Flores combined.

Actually, we should have "targeted" this game to win and assumed the loss for last night.

Though, I really don't know what we could have done to win this game.  Perhaps Guzman would have had better luck today and he should have sat yesterday....

GAME OVER, 2 hours 32 minutes
Nationals 3
Blue Jays 7

Nationals DIAL it in.  Marcum had 11 strikeouts.

And Schneider couldn't have been any worse than Flores, even as a leftie.  Sit him last night and start him today.

Not to make excuses for the inexcusable lack of hitting but we didn't seem to have a shot at this game from the outset because of Speigner's 'pitching'.

As was yesterday's.  If we win tomorrow though I will be very happy with the road trip.   A loss would be extremely devastating, especially after the great start we had to the road trip.

The two worse pitchers in the current rotation started the first two games of this series.

Don't eat anything.  Just drink water.  Starve the bug.  It survives by eating what you eat.

Well nobody expected this to be easy.  If we can salvage one tomorrow, it'll still be a rousing success of a road trip.

Sucks that I couldn't watch this game on MLB.TV, hence my absence for the duration of the game.  Tomorrow is a must win, however, we've been blown out twice, the latter against a ho-hum pitcher.
