saw the first ep of The Following ... very good stuff.

It's like Lost meets Dexter.

Apparently it's gotten better in season 3 on with a new format.  I haven't watched it.

I gave it a shot, the problem isn't the format, it's the hosts.

No discussion of the Office from last Thursday?  Dwight's interviewees were the funniest thing on that show in a while.  Loved Kevin telling off the Senator as well.

I don't like how they are leading to a Jim-Pam breakup.

It's been interesting this season. I don't think they'll let Jim and Pam break up, but that's the most powerful emotion they could tug on to keep us watching this season so they're going for it I'm sure. Showing the camera people for the first time was pretty cool.

I think it ends with Pam leaving Scranton to be with Jim.  Mini Dwight,  mini Jim,  and Erin bring the show full circle at the end (ie you can expect the same story to play out with new characters)

My Five Fave TV Shows (and I won't say "best" because I know I watch some crap):

1. The Walking Dead
2. Parks and Rec
3. The Following - very promising start
4. Mike & Molly - the supporting characters carry the show.
5. Chopped

If you are watching Tv with your kids, get yourself some "Adventure Time with Finn and Jake".

i haven't enjoyed anything he's done except No Reservations, but it looks like he took that show as far as he could.  I would love to see him as the star in the reasonably priced car someday.

has anyone else found themselves watching velocity recently? It's largely what discovery used to be as far as documentaries, and a lot of the care stuff is pretty interesting too

It has me pretty pissed off. It was easily my favorite channel until they screwed with the automotive based programming and went to more of an Animal Planet approach. I've complained to them about it on their facebook page as has many others, but so far, to no avail. Like you said, if I want that type of programming, I'll watch Animal Planet or Discovery. I watch Velocity for auto related shows.

Animal planet is cute animals, discovery is midgets and wedding dresses. I like having 'discovery' back, I also have a couple of shows (chasing classic cars and wheeler dealers- horrific host, but the mechanic is funny and I like seeing cars restored) that I record- I like the balance now

It's probably hard to come up with 24 hours of automotive shows. And aren't all these channels owned by Discovery?

My favorite care show is Fast and Loud.
My favorite survival show is Dual Survival. The giant hippie and the special forces guy are funny together.
