Atilano is nibbling for sure and pitches are on him, but watching Nieves catch the day after Pudge, it is obvious how different the two catchers game calling skills are. It seems like Nieves has the pitchers nibble so much more, while Pudge has guys going after the hitters.
Exactly. I'm glad someone else notices this.
The problem is that it's clear the ump isn't going to call anything down and away, but Nieves keeps going way over there.
