Why is the Blue Jay wearing a maple leaf as an earring?  It must have been a heck of a piercing.  How does it affect his aerodynamics?

Tampa Bay has signed Jose Molina, the greatest backup catcher in the MLB IMO. One less destination for Pudge.

Minnesota has signed Ryan Doumit. Yet another potential Pudge destination off the list.

Marlins may have offered $10-$20 million less than the $90 mil that was first reported.

Phillies trade for Wiggington, which means they are out on Cuddyer. Good news.

What the heck is Philly doing?  Looks like they will break $200 mil. without really improving anywhere.  I thought they'd bring in Aramis Ramirez to play 3B instead of paying that kind of money to a closer who is really not much better than the closer they just lost.

I bet the Astros trade their remaining good players to the Phils for scraps again.

Two million for Wiggy is a good deal. I think it was a good trade.

They've talked about putting Feliz in the rotation.

Makes me feel better about trading Sergio Santos ($1) for King Felix ($41) last year when I had 2 other closers and needed w-whip-era help.

Well, Santos can be kept at $1 or extended for 2 season at $6.  King Felix is king Felix, but at $41 I don't think he's a keeper.  The other guy was playing for next year and I was trying to sneak into first by making a big 3 category jump.  Felix also does not get a ton of wins.

I'm not versed in keeper salary cap leagues... though I'd like to be... so if anyone has an opening for a team, hit me up!

I thought you were a stat guy- one pitcher giving you a serious jump in era or whip late in the season?

Uh, what?

Quote from: Rotoworld
According to Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com, the Orioles have agreed to terms with Korean right-hander Chong Tae-Hyon.

No word on the exact terms, but MyKBO.net believes he'll get a two-year, $3.2 million deal to join the O's bullpen. Tae-Hyon, a 33-year-old submariner, had a 1.48 ERA, 16 saves and a 39/25 K/BB ratio in 54 2/3 innings for the SK Wyverns last season and tops out at around 85 mph on his fastball. He will be the first player ever to make the jump from the Korean professional league to MLB.

He's a submariner ala Chad Bradford and others. Doesn't need to throw hard

For the O's sake, I hope you're right.

The A's asked for Logan Morrison or Mike Stanton as part of a package for Gio Gonzales.

Mike Stanton?  The A's are smoking crack.

Surprised the Marlins didn't ship Morrison out on the first thing smoking to Oakland when the A's asked for him... if the rumors of how much they hate him in Miami, are true.

Good for Braun.  At least they didn't give it to Kershaw.
