Zimmerman due up to bat after a great play like that. Good things have a better chance of coming now!

Really? I hope you're wrong, but regardless, next Spring is more important. Is he as highly touted as Zimmerman was? I think he was a higher pick.

It's tough to compare the two because of the positions they play but I'm more concerned about him progressing without being rushed. If he's a stud and shows this is where he belongs fine but let's not rush him before his time.

Agreed. His age gives him a MUCH higher chance, though. I'm always hoping. Don't mind me.

If Jeter makes that play ESPN would have a special segment to break it down and praise him. I bet Zimmerman barely gets a mention.

Zimmerman made it to AA before he was called up. No team, with any pitcher, no matter how much potential he has, is going to bring him up from A ball to the show during September call ups.

No I'm with you on the optimism. I'm just being cautious about it.

He chased the foul popup down to the tarp and caught it as he was tripping over the tarp.

It looked like Zimmerman was lost as to where that ball was hit.

I love that little sig NOTLD has that implies that Marrero's hits sound like a cannon being fired.

We have something brewing here in the 8th. Let's go Kearns hit a bomb!

Him hitting HRs on every level is what we need. Can't wait to have an original from the organization that teams will fear.

Those (bloops) are the things that happen after you make a catch like he did.

OK. AK is in a humongous slump, but those were some sick pitches from Marmol.

Yep, every time a pitcher pitches that well.
