How can you POSSIBLY give Desmond and error on that?  It was a great play to get to the ball in the first place, and it's not like he airmailed the throw or anything.  The ball was RIGHT at Adam's glove on the bounce.

He's been fine.  Got a slow chopper that Guz couldn't quite make the play on, and then the error.  No one's really made solid contact.  He hasn't got much help this inning.  Should be out of it without any runs.

He did bounce the throw. That's probably what they called it on.

It was bounced, but the bounce was in a pretty good spot.

i thought burnett was pretty damn good ... he almost made a nice play, desmond stuck with it, couldn't get much on the throw and dunn almost made a nice pick ... just an unfortunate play that will probably haunt us.
