Good win for the 'skins.   My buddy (big 'skins fan) is married to a Philly girl.   It'll be a cold night in the doghouse.

It's over- if they win out,  it's 10 wins,  but that means beating Baltimore,  nyg, Cowboys twice...  Once loss and they can hope to slip in,  but I think it'll take ten wins to make the playoffs

If Snyder had any sense or balls, he'd have fired Shanahan on the spot two weeks ago for saying the season was done and time for evaluations for seasons to come. Just one game later and they're back in it. Do they have a shot in hell? Hell no. But mathematically they're in the thick of the race still.

Shanahan is an albatross, perennial loser, clueless, shelters his son who sucks... To make the comments he made two weeks ago, when his entire team turned on him saying the season ain't done and they'll keep fighting? Even though they don't stand a chance, if they didn't suck so much there would be nothing stopping a wild card bid. And 70% of that suckage lies at Shannie's feet. Whether his idiot son, his own horrid coaching, having his players turn on him in the press over his comments and lose respect in the eyes of the team? Hell, one of their major suckage areas was penalties, which has to lie with the coach when it's that widespread and that absurd. 100 yards in penalties in the game two weeks ago? Jesus.

Yet another reason why I don't watch a second of the games and couldn't have even told you their record three weeks ago. Snyder has destroyed a once proud franchise, and Shanahan is the icing on the cake. Damn, forgetting RG3, when was the last time the team even had a QB last for more than a couple seasons? I'm guessing way before Mark Rypien. Thiesman? Such a shame considering how huge a fan I was growing up that now I not only don't watch the games by couldn't name a single player other than RG3. Cooley came back, I believe I read. And if Santana Moss is still here, then that'd be the extent of my knowledge. And if Moss isn't, another example of how little I care about this tragedy of a franchise.

It's easy to say a hell of a rant for a team you don't give a crap about, but it infuriates me that I'd love to root for the Redskins once more.

With the Wizards 0-8 two years running, the Caps playoff failures and current nonexistence (If they do play this year, good luck getting the fans back after a second strike in a decade.), it seems amazing the Nats aren't only the cities darlings for the time being, but the Lerner's have become the best owners of the four major sports for DC.

9 wins is going to win the NFC east. This division is woeful. The Giants might only win 1 or 2 more games. Look at their schedule

even then, unless you think this team can beat the ravens, we have to win out in the division plus cleveland. Last week, we beat a terrible team great, but two weeks ago we lost to a terrible team- if we had beaten them, then I think we'd be in great position, but I don't see this team winning 5 of 6

the Redskins are arguably the team nobody wants to play right now.  They looked really really good today (at least until the 4th).

The offense maybe, but that D is so suspect that any legit offense should match us score for score. The D has looked a little better though, just not good enough. Griffin stays on anything close to this pace and he's got to be a lock for ROY and get a few votes for MVP. And Spidey, Trent Williams has been very good this year, and it's about damn time.

Help!!

I have a RGIII home jersey already, but I'm debating on my next one. Order goes out Monday and I need to be certain by tonight which one I want: Kerrigan 2012 throwback, Alford Morris home/away jersey or a Griffin 2012 throwback. I've picked the Kerrigan, but I'm really not certain if I want that one or the other two. I'm also thinking of getting, at a later date, a Steve Yzerman jersey and a Gretzky (Oilers). Huge Stevie Y fan from back in the day.

Given the way Shanny churns running backs, I would avoid Morris

That's what I was thinking, but I dunno. Morris seems special, like he's absolutely perfect for the offense. Not Clinton Portis special (in his prime) but special none-the-less. I'll probably just stick with the Kerrigan.

I was gonna recommend Morris because you can't find his Jersey too many places
