Between the map mod and clairvoyence I have spent a lot less time running around in circles or getting frustrated and heading out cross country.

Granted, now I am kicking myself a bit for not picking up all those ebony ingots I saw in shops before I needed them.

Has anyone come across any Boethiah priests or priestesses? In an unexpected plot twist, I am attempting to wipe them out.

I have tracked them down in the following quest lines so far. Boethiah's Calling. The House of Horrors.

No but in reference to your previous post, one of the Orc strongholds has a mine with about ~20 ebony ingots worth of ore/veins.  I won't tell you which one unless you want to know.

Anyone use the edit any NPC mod? I am trying to use it to change Aela's armor to the Dark Brotherhood armor (I think it'll be baller to be clearing out crap both wearing the armor compared to her crappy ass armor) since she won't put it on normally. I can't get it to load up in game. Any advice?

I have not tried the NPC editor. Does it let you eliminate dialog? Sometimes I wish my Skyrim wife would just shut up.

I think you can use a command "removeallitems" to take ALL thier stuff, then she should put on what ever you give her.

Freaking Companions Quest bugged for me, and I have 20 weight worth of quest items stuck in my inventory.

If you are using the PC version, you can use the following command to remove them.

Quote
Player.RemoveItem BaseID #

You can find the codes here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Skyrim

quest items don't actually count towards you total weight, but not being able to progress in the quest is definitely sucky

I hit two bugs in rapid succession but other than that had a pretty bug free experience aside from occasional crashes.

The Break of Dawn has a bug when hang in the sky while talking to Meridia. She suddenly drops you when she's done talking to you and you crudely die when you hit the ground before the teleportation triggers. Once I found tgm, it was ok. At first I thought she dropped me because I told her to stuff her religion.

The Great Lift at Mzinchaleft has a bug "locking up", trapping the Dragonborn in a repeating cycle of arriving at either the surface or Blackreach. On a console you must press all buttons and on the PC keep hitting the favorites menu until it loads after which you wait awhile and close it.

Funny, I've done Break of Dawn twice and never had any bugs with it (though there are plenty of pictures on reddit of people being attacked by dragons while in midair  )

I wonder what triggers it. Good to know my second pass might escape the bug. It took me 8 times around before finding the workaround.

Fighting dragons in mid air sounds more like a feature to me. I hate waiting for them to come in range.

This worked to get her to stop using her freaking crappy bow and took away all of her clothing, but when I give her the clothes to wear she just defaults back to her crappy armor :?

I finished the main quest. I suspect after I finish the winterhold reading quests and maybe the deadrec ones it will be time to switch characters. This one came up out pure mage, although I dabbled in archery.

Anyone got a good way to manage saved games for multiple characters?

Copy the save files to another folder

But seriously, that's what I did.

:-[

I never looked in the folder. I assumed the short name displayed in the game menu was all there was to it. Since the add the character name in the front, pretty easy to just to move them as desired.

Anybody tried Midas Magic? I suspect I will end up trying while waiting for Elder Scrolls VI.

This mod adds 40+ new and unique spell types. It adds beam, spray and projectile attacks. And I plan to do much more :)

This mod has several goals...

- Extend the Magic system of Skyrim without disturbing the current spell systems
- Maintain the balance of the combat system (WIP)
- Add a completely different way to obtain these spells from the normal system
- Add exciting quests and new worlds that make obtaining these spells fun (WIP)

Meh, no thanks.  I'm not a fan of huge overhauls that muck about with game mechanics.

Ok, so I'm about to finally open up Skyrim tonight and relax after a week of workout overload.  Anything I should know/do beforehand?  I've never played a game like this before.
