For MDS' sake I hope he's another H-Rod.

HRod was awesome. If for nothing else than for his last appearance.

Law says Gilliam is filler, doesn't impact the deal in his view at all.

Therefore he will be an all star.

The most dominant inning by a Nats pitcher ever.

last appearance or the 2nd to last one against Atlanta when he struck out 3 on 11 pitches?  I'd argue Strasburg's 7th in his debut was more dominant, and then there's J-Zimm's 3ks on 9 pitches last year as well.

T-Clip 6 Ks in 2 innings would be included if you expanded the frame a bit.

this should get turned into another "follow the prospects" thread, but Gilliam has been OK so far.

At AA Harrisburg in 7 games:
40 IP , 41K, 14 BB, 39HA, 19ER, opponents hitting .253 off him.  Averaging 5.7 IP per Start.

In his last two starts, he's gone a total of 13.2 IP, allowing 1ER, and striking out 15 with 6 walks.
