Arroyo's last outing like this one: http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/CIN/CIN200805140.shtml

That would probably kill some of the people here.

How about the one he tossed against us at RFK in '06?  :?

Maybe the return of Wagner will push Colome off the team.

Jesus Colome is from the Dominican Republic, so he has diplomatic immunity, and cannot be cut.  He also gets allowances for that crucifixion thing, or his bad ass, or that time he struck 3 guys out while the bases were loaded.

Down 3. It's insurmountable I'm afraid. Heck, being down 1 run is insurmountable with this squad.

It's hard to believe we have a starter w/ a winning record.

Dukes is susceptible to the outside fastballs. I've only seen him hit one of those.

I thought they were saying "M-V-P" (couldn't figure out why, though), but you definitely could be right.

Lannan, Bergmann, and Perez have a combined 3.82 ERA (254.2 IP 108 ER) and a combined 7-20 record.  :?

pitiful. AK strikes out and Belly is retired on 1 pitch. This can't get any worse.

That's pathetic any other team and the record would be more like 20-7

36% (21/58) of Dunn's hits coming into this game were home runs.

Good lord.  Guz has almost two times as many hits as Dunn.

With 100+ more ABs, though.

I don't think even 100 more ABs would make up the 50+ hit difference between the too. Dunn plays for the walk. He's not concerned with hitting.

Man F this. Our pitching once again did a solid job to no avail. Giving up 3 runs in this ballpark should be enough to win every time. Even giving up 5 runs like we did last night should be good enough for a win over 50% of the time.

Oh, I agree that he wouldn't have as many hits. Definitely. But I think it's pitcher's fearing Dunn more than him looking to walk.
