Jason Bergmann, RHP (0-1, 7.31)..... @ ..... Josh Johnson, RHP (11-6, 2.84)

Bergmann will make his third start since being recalled from the Minor Leagues on Aug. 11. In his last start, Bergmann lasted six innings, giving up four runs on five hits against the Braves. He didn't pitch as badly as his line indicates. He only had one bad inning. Atlanta was already leading, 1-0, when it scored three runs in the fifth.

Despite slipping out of the ERA lead in his previous start, Johnson still was able to claim an impressive win. The right-hander won at Dodger Stadium, giving up four runs in six innings. He ended an L.A. run of winning 17 of 18, including six straight. Johnson has won two straight decisions, and three of his last four starts. On May 4, Johnson beat the Nationals at RFK Stadium, giving up two runs in five innings.

According the kooky laws that govern the Nationals, we should be able to blow this pitcher away

Star Wars night in Miami, what a sham.  They need to be relocated or contracted very soon.

Mateo was called up for Hughes.  Hughes deserved to be sent back, but Jackson did even more

Bergmann gets out without trouble, mainly due to the stupidity of Miguel Olivo.

Josh Johnson has had no problem with the rest of the NL (he is leading NL in ERA), why would he have a problem with our sub-par lineup??

that would make sense but I think Sori likes batting leadoff
