Gee, Trachsel WAS pitching a PERFECT GAME after 3 innings.
[Jinx, jinx...)
Home Run #38 by Soriano, just before I hit "Submit."

Soriano is on a pace to hit 53 home runs this season.  38 divided by this 117th game times 162-game-season = 53.
Frank Howard hit 48.  This is what losing team's fans live for.

Come on offense, give us more.  As good as Tony has been, the fact is he has struggled in the last few weeks and is facing the best offense in the NL.

Get a hit Brian so we don't start the next inning with the pitcher spot!

Tony, 1 pitch out?  Are you serious?  Atleast Sori leads off next inning

Again, I have to ask.  Why is Tony Armas swinging at the first pitch???

You see, this is a coaching/managing problem.  No one commanded that Armas not swing, until at least the fourth pitch, before he went up to bat?

I was starting to worry that Tony was gonna walk that little punk...

But thankfully no...  nice 13-pitch 1-2-3 inning.
