Colt Brennan is driving the Skins right down the field right on queue. Poor Jason Campbell.

Yes, at 1-4 for 3 yds and 1 INT, it's really important for Jason Campbell to REST, instead of actually play against a real team.  He'll get so much better, at being a deer looking into the headlights (from the end zone), by... resting, resting

It's gotta be embarrassing if your a starting pitcher to get knocked out of the game in the 3rd inning against the Lowly Nationals.  :D
Well, really, he got walked out of the game. ;)

Jeez, they are grilling Belliard at first.  Do they seriously think he is a threat?

Fincher looks to be trying to make the team though.

Dukes has some wheels. I'd like to see him steal more, he's like 10 for 11 this year.

Why didn't Elijah step out? I know I would if the pitcher was taking that long to throw the ball.

Dukes looks a lot slower than he actually is. Maybe it's the long strides.

That and the power in each stride.  There was some guy I ran track with back in the day that had deceptive speed like that, most of which came from his unhuman (or inhuman?) calves and quads (no homo).

really...

Yeah. The building over the subway stop is the only thing they have going. Remember money is extremely tight for real estate development and broke for Monument is different than broke for you and I.

Yeah, he's looked pretty good. Another player I've been impressed w/ is Doughty. Dude's tough.

Elijah Dukes will be our All Star representative long before Zimmerman ever will.

CRAP!  They showed an old clip of Jim Zorn passing to a Hall of Game member of Congress.  I forgot that Zorn was left-handed.  I wonder how much help he really was to Matt Hasselback, since everything is backwards for a lefty vs. righty.  Zorn didn't call the plays out there.

Lannan has thrown 71 pitches in 4 innings.
