John Patterson, RHP (0-0, 9.00)

"The Big Nasty" got off to a slow start as he gave up four runs in four innings in a no-decision against the Mets on Wednesday. It didn't help that he was playing with a forearm injury. Patterson hopes to redeem himself on Monday as he faces the Astros for the third time in his career. He is 1-0 with a 2.63 ERA against them.

Wandy Rodriguez, LHP (1-0, 5.40)

Rodriguez earned the win in his first start of the season, allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits over five innings in a 6-5 win over the Nationals on April 5. Rodriguez walked four, but he induced three double plays in the first three frames to keep the damage to a minimum. The left-hander admitted feeling fatigued in his final frame, although he threw only 82 pitches in this outing.

I'm glad that Byrd's starting again - he plays his butt off, and if for no other erason deserves some starts.  That clutch double the other night did not suck, either...

Poor call by the ump on the 3-1 pitch, calling it a strike.  And of course Nick pops out foul on the next pitch that shouldn't have been.

Base hit for Zimmerman.

Guillen really seems to be having trouble getting out of the infield in this series.
