Not for long and not to worry.  They'll invert the standings and grasp the cellar.  In their first 20 games, only 6 are against teams with winning records in 2007.  Next weekend, they go 14 straight against teams with winning records in 2007, and will hit bottom and keep on digging.

I think they'll be alright. I thought they'd be defeated at this point.

Pena needs to be traded to an AL team now.  I'd take 20 cents on the dollar for him.  Just an awful all-around player.

Two games in a row where the opposing pitcher has made a ridiculous catch.  The offense is beginning to tick me off again.  3 runs is not enough.

Zimmerman gets very generous credit for a H last inning as the scorer takes away Uggla's error - the ball being there about at least 10 feet before Zimmerman, who had not yet even entered the picture, not withstanding.

I don't think we'll face a starting pitcher as bad as the one last night for the rest of the season. Sorry, I'm still not over that.

Jacobs should have caught it off the bounce

There is no foundation.  The worst rotation in the majors, no defense (setting a pace to make even more errors than last year's record setting team), the worst situational hitting in the majors, and 2nd highest K rate don't add up to being anywhere near decent.

The Marlins also have Fredi "managing"

Not much on that throw, but at least it made it all the way to second. LoDoucha would have bounced it.

Nice one, Uggla.  K swinging, K looking, let's get creative for the next K.  How about a bunt foul?

It doesn't look like a bat at all.

I saw Piazza once hit the mound, and then 3 more hops before it reached 2b.

If I recall correctly, one of our catchers once hit our pitcher.
