Stairs, unfortunately, being only 1/30 of a major leaguer, cannot run.
Though he may weigh 30/1 of a major leaguer.

We were wrong Hammonds. Sucks  :| Desmond can't hack it up here. He keeps getting worse. Last year he would have frequent hot streaks and would drive the ball into gaps.

Last year he had an unsustainably high BABIP driving his average.  It made him look a lot better than he really was.

What'd Ian hit last year .265? With like 10 homers? Jeez I'd definitely take those numbers right now.

Sounds about right. Time to find a new SS in the offseason. Espinosa has been so good at 2B I'd leave him there in fear of messing him up by moving him back to SS.

Would you guys be interested in trading for J.J. Hardy from the O's if he was made available?

That's silly, that's the logic that leaves guys like Feliz, Joba and Chapman in the bullpen.  If he'd be more valuable at his natural position (SS), we should absolutely move him there.

Really tough zone.. Marquis has been pretty good. I feel another close nail biter coming. Hopefully Morse's DP doesn't haunt us.

lmao, 8+ hits from the 7-9 hitters last night, and tonight he walks the mediocre #8 hitter and gives up a hit to the #9 hitter.

Why do we keep bending over for Bourjos?
