I personally don't hate the deal for Los Angeles. Yeah, Beckett is likely dead weight, but Gonzalez is good and Crawford was playing pretty well before he had the surgery. It has massive potential to totally blow up in their faces, but it could also work out really well. It's a gamble; one of the biggest in MLB history.
