This is annoying. By the way, on Saturday's Fox broadcast, the color commentator (I forget his name) made a comment that the sale would be mid-winter. I don't know if he was talking off the top of his head, or if he knew something. Mel Proctor, who did the play-by-play, said nothing. The lease was supposed to be done by mid-September, and now they're saying "hopefully" end of the month. More likely, it'll be sometime in November or December, given how DC normally does things. That'll mean we may not have an owner until January. By then, it'll already be too late to sign anybody decent for GM or manager, and we may be severaly hurt in signing free agents, including re-signing Esteban Loaiza.
