Desmond is dialed in. Is there any chance he he be a lead off guy?

i'm getting a bad feeling that there's a 50 game suspension in Desmond's future.  How else to explain it?

That's about 20 pitches too many. I wish they would have pulled him after 5.

Why? He's not on a pitch limit.

Whew!  Scary inning.  Can our bullpen do it?  It would sure help to get some runs!

Amen to that Brother!

Do I even need to say it?

Wouldn't that be taunting?  ;)

Vanover strike zone seemed to make everyone throw a few more pitches today

Steroids doesn't develop plate discipline.

pitch counts are ruining the game of baseball

Not only that...

If you have to pull pitchers at 80 pitches, you shouldn't have a starter... everyone should be a bullpen arm, just to make sure no one throws too many pitches.

I am two or three more good games away from issuing an official apology to Ian Desmond.

You apparently don't know how this board works. You never admit you're wrong. You say what's happening right now is a fluke and he will revert to his terrible ways. And then when he goes into a slump you jump all over him and say I told you so. And if he stays hot all year you hope people forget how you said he would be terrible.
