That should be a hit
Finally some offense

THey gave him the hit and RBI.  A runner like D Young would have gotten the error, but speed gets you the good graces of the stat guys (as well as bunt hits).

Anderson Hernandez now has 5 hits in his first two games here.

How long before the rest of the team "infects" him?

I agree that Hernandez won't keep this up, he should revert to fringe major leaguer mode soon.  I still have my hopes up for Bonifacio, but I don't think he will be anywhere near what a lot of folks here have projected him to become.

yeah whenever we get a guy, he does really well before sucking, like bonifacio for example... maybe they just haven't had time to get over to the hitting cages yet.

Oh come on, everytime a player slumps we don't bench him. If we did that, 90% of the lineup would be benched.

I'm not saying bench him.  I'm saying we need to get a look at Montz as well.

Bonifacio, Sanches, and several others had great debuts and then quickly fell back down to their old levels.

freak. Horrible 0-2 pitch and an equally horrible throw by Zimmerman. I hate when he throws it real side arm like that.

This team finds a new way to lose every game.

Bullcrap infield chopper turns into a triple (3 base error), then an RBI ground-out, followed by a HR by the back-up catcher.

Rivera looks terrible. He is throwing way too many hittable pitches in 0-2, 1-2 counts. Bury the ball you freaking idiot!

Saul is a bum in the Ayala mold.  I feel sorry for Joel, he never gets a save opportunity.

I still can't believe it. We let the #8 hitting back-up catcher with a .220 AVG and 2 HRs on the year beat us.

Manny has taught this team to be a bunch of chokers because they cannot handle pressure because Manny never gets upset.  It's like he is running a Montessori Nursery School where the teachers let the kids find their strengths and they guide them.  Manny wants to be supportive of everyone and always be positive.  He should start a nursery school for baseball players.  Oh I forgot it's called the Nats.
