Chico, who changed his mechanics late in Spring Training, delivered a solid
rookie campaign in 2007, going 7-9 with a 4.63 ERA in 31 starts for
Washington.

Myers makes his second straight Opening Day start after a whirlwind 2007
season that ended with him as the team's closer. Myers appears to have
made a seamless transition back to the rotation, with a 1.13 ERA in three
spring starts.

I forgot they got Feliz. That's another scary bat to worry about.

Hopefully we get the pretty good version of Chico today.

Myers has an average career against the Nats, but we've definitely whooped him before.

OT: Good game in Detroit right now on ESPN. Royals are keeping up w/ them even w/ Verlander on the mound. Gordon's homer was a BLAST.

Myers, yuck (I always think of the incident with his wife in Boston when I see him). Wasn't he working out of the 'pen at one point last year?

The result of that mechanic change should be on display today, good or bad.
