Zim is hitting .271 now.

Wow, Zim leads all players 23 and under in HRs, RBIs, Runs, and several other stats. A lot of people around here take him for granted.

If I were Milledge I would have charged the mound. He gets hit up and in so freaking much. It's ridiculous.

That's career-wise, right?

Yes. He's hitting .271 on the season but the other numbers are career.

I think a brawl is one thing this team could win hands down

I just came back from a walk with my wife, when I left we were up 5-2 in the first. I come back, its 5-2. I have never seen a team so incapable of scoring runs after the first.

Clint made an announcement on the PA system that no runs could be scored until HalfSmokes returned from his walk.  (You now have to purchase season tickets for 2009.)

I have a feeling that we haven't even seen the best of what Zimmerman is capable of yet.

Nah, it obviously has something to do w/ him. You could see the youth coming out of him there. Players shouldn't react like that unless they actually are thrown at, IMO.

Dukes alone could probably take on 5 of the Dodgers.

It's the frustration being built up though. He's been hit like that so many times this season and especially lately. That's got to piss you off. That crap hurts too.

Youth yes, but Ill let him slide on that one.  I think it was more a reaction from getting hit directly on the bone than anything.  He has been hit before and never reacts like that.

I agree. I honestly see him getting Burrell-like numbers in the future. Maybe not as many strikeouts, but I'm not so sure about that.

Yeah, the strikeouts are definitely a problem.

Dukes might be able to steal near 40 bases in a fully healthy season.
