So I guess our real ACE is a first year rookie kid from Canada.  Wow...now that's friggin ridiculous for a major league ball club.   :?

What big name / big game pitchers are going to be free agents after this season?

Pretty sad although I am a big Shawn Hill fan.  Ideally you'd want him to be your #3 guy though.  LMAO, Bowie walks the bases loaded.    Here comes the knockout punch...

Carlos Zambrano (we won't get him)
Mark Buehrle
Jason Jennings
Freddy Garcia

Those are the four guys who seem worthwhile.  Everyone else is either too old or too marginal.

It's only fitting since we are the worst team in baseball as well.  Bad teams don't get any lucky breaks.

I think the Kansas City Royals retain the King of Suck crown until they can sweep the Nationals in a series.  It's the Hoover Vacuum Corollary on measuring how well one Sucks.

What are we waiting for with that kid Colton? The Yankees brought up Hughes due to desperation, so why are we hesitant with Colton? What do we have to lose?

And that's it.. I don't even want to watch another game for the time being.  This is just so unacceptable at the professional level.  As someone on here frequently preaches, this team does nothing fundamentally sound.  The effort and execution is just sickening at this point.

Last Play: S. Victorino safe at first on second baseman R. Belliard's fielding error, C. Ruiz scored, G. Dobbs to third, J. Rollins to second

Gotta love it.

I give up. Either I watch the game upstairs or go online. Tonight I'm on the computer...less frustrating (I hope).

This is just comic relief at this point. You just gotta learn to laugh it off.

Can someone please enlighten me as to why Jesus is not pitching in favor of Bowie? Was Manny serious when he told Jesus he could take a vacation to the Dominican?

WHAT LUCK.  Runner coming home on a BASES-LOADED, 2-OUT WILD PITCH is thrown out!

Phillies 7
National Disgrace 2

The Phillies are on a ROLL...
But with our 41% cut in payroll, we are saving a LOT of
DOH!

All i have left now is to pray that the Marlins get to Hudson in the bot of the 9th so Hudson doesn't get a complete game shutout (Fantasy Impact).

With our luck, he rode into some Dominican Republic town, in triumph, on a donkey, and was crucified shortly thereafter by jealous locals.  So we may have to wait several days..
