I know he pitched well last time, but you have to expect some kind of repercussion from missing a year, right?  Losing to the Nats would certainly qualify.

Volquez had TJ a month after Zimmermann. Maybe the Nationals should look into hiring Tim Kremchek full time.

what team is this that I am watching on my TV?  The names all seem familiar, but the run production doesn't.

Livan should have taken one for the team.

Considering their track record, they're probably cursing dog.

Riggleman pieces together a juggernaut of an offense and gets no credit.

Or they should keep doing things as they are.  Dusty will kill Volquez for good soon.

Let's leave Tony Plush where he is until we get Nyjer clearly back on track for an extended period of time....like through the home stand against Atlanta and filthydelphia...

John "Little Napoleon" McGraw would not get a whole lot more out of this team.

Which is still below where a leadoff hitter should be, but it's close and trending the right direction.

Kremchek's a very good surgeon. He's they guy that got Zimmerman back from a SLAP tear in 6 weeks or so. Dusty's an idiot and expect Leake to be a fond memory by 2015.
