Yes, you are right about Missing Persons breaking from LA.  We kind of adopted them back and BCN /FNX gave them heavy air play.  Also, I saw on her wiki that Dale Bozzio was Playboy Bunny of the Year in Boston in 1975 and worked with Zappa!

So Ghost is apparently becoming a big deal.

Meh. They sound like a song from an especially dark episode of Scooby-Doo. Hell, they even LOOK like villains from Scooby-Doo.

(Image removed from quote.)

Still, sort of a fun sound. Immensely goofy, but kinda fun.

Didn't see this until now.  I like it :couch:

Reminds me of King Diamond/Mercyful Fate.

Billy Joel tonight.  As a long island native, he will always be the greatest musical performer of all time (well...second to Paul McCartney).

Selected the CDs for my excursion north.

NRBQ - Peak- a - boo (best collection).  Features Captain Lou!
Eagles greatest hits v. 2 ( :spaz: , a change of pace)
Jerry Lee Lewis - Last Man Standing
The Unforgettable Glenn Miller  (for my dad when I drive up to my brother's for thanksgiving)
The Beatles - Love
Grateful Dead - American Dream
Bruce - Magic
Bruce - The Rising
The Who - Live at Leeds

To heck with any artist who was not recording in the 70s.

Not yet, that picture's from 2017, he's going to be working up to that stature between now and then.

MG - I taken Born to Run on my last trip north.  I really like Magic (girls in their summer clothes and especially gypsy biker and long way home).  The Rising seemed fitting going by the Sandy area and looking out at the Freedom Tower.

On the Springsteen subject, someone mentioned that Ghost of Tom Joad featuring Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine is a terrific listen.  Here is one Youtube:

It's especially painful watching Bruce trying to solo next to someone as gifted as Tom Morello...
