"Ryan Zimmerman's Miracle Dorkface Tonic" brings you today's gamethread?

I wanted to point this out in the GDT yesterday, but was too busy cleaning my house.  After Dunn popped one over the wall the camera crew showed him in super slow-mo crossing the plate and celebrating with those on base and on deck.  I'm 95% sure he looked at Zim and said, "I'm back."  Zim then got this huge grin on his face and smacked him upside the head pretty hard.

Also, Bernie's face lit up in the dugout after sending one deep, and who can forget JMax falling on himself and sliding twice, then getting all kinds of playfully mocking smiles when he made it home and in the dugout?  The boys are having fun.  Hope they take another W today.

Hopefully we're done with Morgan as a starter for now and done with him completely after the season's over.

I think a big problem is that Roger was sucking at LF and having problems with the lights.

What game are you talking about?  Bernadina hasn't sucked at left field in any game he's played there.

It's sad when Willie Harris having a really bad season is preferable to TFlush.

Glad we got two in this series already as lAnnAn is back to his old self.

Whatever people had "figured out" about Morse is clearly no longer working.  Interesting that Knight said it looked like he moved back slightly off the plate.  Wouldn't get that from the king of "keep throwing the same pitch, you can't just throw the same pitch" who refused to even use the freaking pitch tracker.

Today's lineup does emphasize the primary offseason need being a corner OF.

yeah just ignore the starts he made prior to his last one since coming back up ... he didn't get us three wins (with a chance for a 4th).  yeah keep living in your fantasy world.

Bob and Ray last night were discussing how he is struggling to adjust and near missed some routine plays because of it. He has no business playing LF except that Riggleman's lineups are bad.

Yet the organizational line is that he's more "natural" at LF.  Dudes a CF and that should be his spot permanently.

I think it might be the beginning of the end of Nyjer in a Nats uniform.

Btw, is this about the ball incident in Philly or did he do something else after that?

I must have missed the plays he nearly missed.

I don't want a LF that hits like that anyway. Makes me wonder about Hammer's health/tender status or if they are willing to sign a FA and maybe move Hammer back to right, put Nyjer in CF, and Bernie in LF :spaz:

Nyjer isn't playing anything next season.

So why are they pumping up his LF abilities? Maybe in case they sign Crawford or get DeJesus?

He's already dropped a routine flyball in LF. He does this weird glove waggle thing in LF that he hasn't done in RF. I just don't think he sees the ball at all in LF.
