Rain delay according to Ben.

Correct - AM-1500 has Phil Wood on right now, taking callers.

9pm? Jesus, this is going to be a late night for me then. Crazy they delayed it this long too. It stopped raining here twenty minutes ago, and was only drizzling after about 7:40. Oh well, midnight games are always fun once in a while.

On another note, for the first time I paid $47 for their B lot parking so I was guaranteed the Stras DVD. And of course they end up having boxes of them left at the gate. Oh well, ended up with two of them, one for parking and one when I got my ticket scanned, so it's all good. But I never, ever end up getting any of these 15,000 promotions getting here at 6:50, so of course the one night I spend almost $25 over the Yards parking they've got thousands left over.

I took a nap earlier so the 9:00 p.m. start time is fine.  However, if the Nats give up tons of runs at the beginning of the game, I won't watch.  Hopefully Livan won't do that!

So did I - at my normal time for leaving for a match (a bit before 18.00) there was thunder - and now, with the first pitch finally coming at 21.00, it looks like making discretion the better part of valour was the right choice. If this had been a Friday or Saturday night or an afternoon I'd have gone - but not at an evening like this when I have to go to work at 06.00 the following morning.

This K zone is tight. Our hitters better be patient.

Is Willie Harris the best we can do at backup left field?

For Livan's velocity, do they use a radar gun or a calendar?

too bad you can't sub players in and out, it would be fun to have Livan and Strasburg alternate, 2 innings each.

I was just thinking Livan should have been pitching after Strasburg lastnight.
