Oh well.

That was a good inning though, we really drove up the pitch count and kept moehler out there in the heat for a while.  Judging from all those balls, it looks like we're getting to him.

The AL designated hitter rule is for lazy managers and it's lazy baseball. As much as I don't like Frank Robinson, he's not a lazy manager. The DH should be wiped out of the rule books. If MLB wants more offense, all they have to do is reduce the size of the strike zone

If we keep grinding out at-bats against Moehler, and up his pitch count, we should be able to get to him later.

Ryan Church is so not-clutch it's mind boggling.  Maybe it's unfair to single him out, but it seems that since last Sunday's 8th inning debacle against the Astros he has been coming up with chances to drive in key runs and break us out of this damn slump every game.  The end results have been strike outs (looking twice and swinging twice) or weak ground outs.

They mentioned on the telecast, that since Church's run in with the wall, he's not felt the same and he's obviously not hitting like he was before he hurt his shoulder...

Nice to see some clutch, 2 out hits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too bad we couldn't get more than 3 off Moehler today - he was awful.  I have a bad feeling that leaving the sacks full twice could come back to hurt us.

Considering the frequency with which we produce runs, EVERY man left on base can potentially come back to haunt us...

Livan wriggles out of another jam...

I just love watching him pitch. He really gets it, realizing that it's about making "pitches" rather than trying to blow people away with every pitch like so many pitchers nowadays try to do.
