What this team needs is a montage and a new coach

We must lead the league in unearned runs given up.

Yep, Lannan messed up on Utley, but it must suck to have to get out after out, only to have the fielders freak it up.

Who?

The crapass catcher who called all those fecking meatball pitches.

Flores is behind the plate.

Maybe when the Caps finish winning the Stanley Cup we can figure out a way to get them to strap on some cleats.

He's not the one making the calls. Neither is Flores.

Flores/Nieves.  They all look the same to me.

Umm...  I'll go back to the hockey game now.

Well, at least the Nationals are making me a lot of money.  I just bet against them every night, except when Zimmermann pitches and always win (my bets).

At this rate, I'll be on all expenses paid cruise to Jamaica in a month.

Don't you have a tough time rooting for them when you do that?

Of course Lannan is never to blame for serving up meatballs.  :?

I think most of us have a hard time rooting for them at this point.

Do you get MASN at home?  The Restaurants threads has places near you that air games, but I doubt they have DVRs.

As long as you echo what Ray Knight says in the post game show, your blog might get quoted in the next pre-game show... to lend validity to his opinions.

2 unearned runs as Lannan serves up ANOTHER homer...

(Image removed from quote.)
John Lannan is a... oh screw it... darn Beatles...

Nacionales 0
fillies 5

Nope, I don't get MASN here. I don't even have cable. Long and strange story.

I might mention in a posting the NQ got plugged, but unless I am completely drunk, that will be the extent of my ass kissing. I do appreciate the pop though.

Did anyone here honestly think that Adam Dunn would be hitting .306 here in late April?  He seems to play better when his best friend, Austin Kearns, is in the game.

20th walk of the year...  What a guy!!!!!!!!!!

This team is a crap show, thank god April ends on Friday, maybe we're the equivalent to Dukes batting average last year until he became hot.

I don't even think about it during the game usually.  Just bet beforehand, root for Nats to win, wallow in defeat afterwards, then check account statement and squeeze out a smile.  I'll keep betting with confidence until they win more than 2 games in a row.

Sadly, I think NOTLD's blog plug is going to be the highlight of the evening on WNFF tonight.

On the brightside, they lost this game early so we can watch the caps with no regrets

wow. awful. offense is rolling over for stupid ass Cole Hamels. he looks like crap.

I don't really blame them though. everyone knew that the loss last night was going to send this team into a terrible tail spin.

More like Guzman's batting average by the end of 2005...
