Yes. It was from the 1st base side. Did look like Pudge missed it. Hell, I'm old but it looked like he missed the ball by several inches.
I think it was a lot closer than you guys think. In every replay, and I slowed it down to watch it frame by frame, it looks like when the ball and the bat cross paths there's a change of direction. It's subtle, but it's there. I thought I heard the tip when I saw it live.
